WisTex Engineering, Inc. is a small business technology company that conducts performance analysis of information systems, operations and processes for aerospace, defense and telecommunications industry. For the aerospace and defense industries we apply performance data and process simulation resources to quickly construct simulation to analyze network-centric warfare, logistics and business process concepts.  For the telecommunications industry we provide system engineering, simulation and analysis.

Our Services

WisTex Engineering  offers expertise in concept development and analysis, system engineering and analysis, and modeling and simulation. Our simulation support is based on our TopView  modeling and simulation tool.  TopView  is a rapid development simulation tool with visualization concepts for quick understanding of simulation algorithms and design.  We offer various support options and deliver the models, simulations and analysis to our customers.

Our Background

WisTex Engineering, Inc. has over 30 years of system engineering experience with Missile Defense Architectures, C4ISR, Network-Centric Warfare, Military Logistics,  Systems-of-Systems (Department of Defense Architecture Framework) and process analysis.  We have over 15 years of modeling and simulation experience.  We have created over 50 simulations that range from macro level (i.e, Global Command and Control for Missile Defense) to micro levels (i.e.,  Tactical Link 16 TDMA) simulation fidelity.

Value to You:

  • Determine expected system behavior and performance before actually building the system

  • Develop an understanding of why the system performs the way it does, and what might be done to make it perform better

  • Locate impediments to system performance – such as buffers and queues that backup, time consuming processes; throughput degraded by slow processors or insufficient communications bandwidth

  • Identify candidate processes for automation

  • Investigate impact of system modifications

  • Examine impact of rearranging the sequence in which processes are performed

  • Estimate system resource requirements – human, machine, and material – and the impact alternative resource levels

  • Determine impact on system performance of varying degrees of system reliability
